3 Fashion Weeks of 2020

All you need to know about the 3 latest fashion weeks of 2020

The latest few weeks have been fire for some of the main European cities like Milan, London and Paris which have been home of the most known Fashion Weeks around the world, attracting buyers, media, celebrities, top models and designers who proudly present their latest collections.
If you’re wondering which trends are going to be viral in the next few months, here’s a sum of all the best ones coming from the runaways.

London Fashion Week

Femme Dress Code. London FW highlighted feminine silhouettes combined with a lot of good construction with some retro-glamour vibes. Waist details, like belts and new key items such as the kneel length skirt with high boots are the main focus. (ex: Victoria Beckham in the first pic). Personally I really love the idea of an oversize blazer combined with a cool belt that defines the waist and gives this glam vibe to the final look. I also noticed bold colors and bright preppy red that were a strong feature across occasionwear looks but for most of the designers brown tones were the main point for the color palette, an example is truffle, which was considered sophisticated and trending by the fashion critique.

Milan Fashion Week

Again here classy and feminine, were the key words that inspired the main artist of this fashion week. Analysing the different runaways I found some common points, like form-fitting pencil skirts, belted jackets and tweed patterns. In addition to that, extravagance and excesses inspired by the 80’s, were back to the designs presented during the shows. Some minimal looks caught my attention, like during Agnona show, they had focus on comfort and ease. All-grey styling, blue and grey, gender-neutral and flattering to a range of skin tones, were key points for the color-palette at A/W 20/21.

Paris Fashion Week

When it comes to Paris FW I can’t stop thinking about regal, retro, maximalist, fancy… well this was the partywear story of A/W 20/21. Also a lot of leather, self-fabric suspender details and fabric manipulation. As for colors, an emphasis on partywear sees silver trending as a statement-making hue. Designers didn’t go crazy but they gave us this sense of regality, classy with the use of fancy textiles that in my option was amazing, I really enjoyed it.
